The introduction of industrialised technologies to the construction sector did not affect the entire country uniformly. In certain regions, more significant interventions emerged where the use of prefabricated construction components became common. For instance, in Emilia, the public project in Via Corticella in Bologna (Fig. 5.12), carried out by the Consorzio di Costruzioni di Bologna in 1981, involved the use of prefabricated formworks as well as prefabricated building components such as stairwells, balconies, bracing partitions, equipped walls, envelope panels, etc. [12].
